This policy explains what Gamejii collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
Who we are
Gamejii is operated by [Your company or trading name], contactable at info@gamejii.com. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Gamejii, and "you" means anyone using gamejii.com or our mobile app.
What we collect
If you just play games, we collect very little. Our server records standard technical information that every website receives, including your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you open and the time you opened them. We use this to keep the site running, to diagnose faults, and to understand which games people enjoy.
If you create an account, we also store the information you give us: your username, email address, password in encrypted form, and anything optional you choose to add such as a display name or profile picture. If you sign in using Google or another social login, we receive your name and email address from that provider.
As you play, we record your game activity. This includes which games you open, your scores, your experience points, your level, your favourites, and your play history. This is what makes leaderboards, rewards and your profile work.
If you buy or order something from our rewards store, we store the order and the delivery details you provide, such as your name, phone number and address.
We never store full payment card details. Where payment is involved, it is handled by the payment provider, not by us.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your language and theme preferences, and measure how the site is used. Advertising partners may also set their own cookies to show more relevant adverts and to limit how often you see the same one.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies we use for sign-in, you will not be able to stay logged in.
Advertising and analytics
Gamejii is free because it is supported by advertising. We work with third party advertising networks that may collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to select the adverts you see.
We also use analytics tools to understand traffic patterns and improve the site. These tools report on groups of visitors rather than identifying you personally.
These partners operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. You can usually opt out of personalised advertising through your device settings or through the ad network's own controls.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- service providers who help us run Gamejii, such as hosting, email delivery and analytics
- advertising partners, as described above
- payment and delivery partners, where you have placed an order
- authorities, where the law genuinely requires it
How long we keep it
Account information is kept for as long as your account exists. Game activity and order records are kept while they remain useful for your profile, our leaderboards and our own accounting. Technical logs are kept for a short period and then cleared.
If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete your account and its data, or stop certain uses of your information. Write to info@gamejii.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to confirm your identity first, which protects you as much as us.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR in Europe or the DPDP Act in India. We honour those rights regardless of where you are.
Children
Gamejii is a general audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will remove it promptly.
Security
We protect your information with industry standard measures, including encrypted passwords and secure connections. No website can promise perfect security, but we take this seriously and act quickly if something goes wrong.
Links to other sites
Some games and adverts link to websites we do not operate. Once you leave Gamejii, this policy no longer applies, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of wherever you land.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top always tells you when it was last revised. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
